About

I’m a WordPress developer and marketing automation specialist based in Calabarzon, Philippines. I’ve been building for the web since Jan 2015 — 10+ years across agencies, startups and direct clients, spanning the Philippines, Singapore and the US.

Most of my work is building and maintaining WordPress sites — custom themes, WooCommerce stores, and the PHP, Laravel and MySQL underneath them — end to end, from front-end build through back-end integration, version control and deployment. Alongside that I plan and build marketing automation: CRM workflows, email systems and landing pages that keep a marketing team’s leads moving. React and TypeScript are a newer part of my toolkit, one I’m actively building on; UI/UX and Figma work round out how I collaborate with design.

I’ve supported everything from small business sites to a high-traffic content platform serving millions of monthly visitors, and I like roles where I can move between hands-on development and marketing operations.

Where I’ve worked

IMPACT! Brand Communications — Frontend Web Developer, Apr 2019 to now. Building and maintaining web properties for a B2B portfolio across Asia-Pacific, working directly with design and marketing teams. That side of the role has grown into marketing automation: HubSpot workflows, Mailchimp automation, MailerLite workflow automation, some ActiveCampaign, Marketo emails, and Unbounce landing pages — plus using AI tooling for the repetitive parts of delivery.

Freelance — Jan 2015 to now. Websites, landing pages and marketing systems for small businesses and agencies, owned from design handoff through to deployment and maintenance.

How I work now

A fair amount of my recent delivery runs through AI-assisted workflows — Claude and MCP-based tooling handle the repetitive parts of development and marketing ops. The architecture, the technical decisions and the QA stay mine; AI speeds up the typing, not the judgement.

This site is a worked example: planned, built and QA’d through exactly that kind of workflow, on Astro with Markdown as the CMS. No database, no admin login, no monthly fee.
